Lagerfeuergespräche

We humans need and consume far too much. The planet cannot produce anywhere near as much food and raw materials as we consume year after year. Modernity has pushed the Earth beyond its limits. But how much would actually be enough? How much do we need to live well? And from there upwards, do we still get happier as we have more? And who exactly do we mean by “we” ? — after all, we all need very different things.

Lagerfeuergespräche invited the audience of the OSTEN festival in the former GDR city of Bitterfeld-Wolfen to take part in ritualised talking circles to exchange about people’s lived experiences of what too much, too little and enough can mean.
